25/03/24 – Beautiful, friendly and great location. I travelled for work and the location was perfect as it was close to where I needed to be. I knew of the area as I have previously lived in the locality. I did not expect to have such a great host a remembered why the location is rather sought after views of the sea. The breakfast was a traditional and well cooked with top quality food and really quickly. I chatted to the host for a good 15 mins and it felt very friendly and just natural like two old friends chatting. I will be going back. (Booking.Com).
14/02/24 – A great place to stay. The property was right on our route, The England Coast Path. It was full of delightful character. The proprietors were so friendly and helpful. 13/07/23 – Great B&B Guest House near Titchfield Haven Nature Reserve. The room had everything you might need, including Horlicks and chocolate Horlicks sachets as well as the usual tea and coffee. The full English breakfast was great. Other breakfast options were all there too. You could even have kippers if you gave the owners a couple of days’ notice! In addition to this the building’s history was very interesting. The owners were very welcoming on arrival and at breakfast time. A great place to stay. (Booking.com).

17/10/22 – A very comfortable stay by the sea. The house is on a fairly quiet coastal road and faces The Solent. It must be very satisfying if your room has a sea view. The owners were very helpful, and we both enjoyed our breakfast. We were able to safely park outside on their forecourt. Finally, there looks to be a very promising gastropub within 100 yards. 03/10/22 – Exceptional guest house. Lovely warm, cosy guest house with lovely owners. Very nice ground floor, en-suite room, overlooking the garden. Bed was very comfortable. Guest lounge upstairs which overlooked the beach and Isle of Wight. Great breakfast. Location was ideal, close to relatives that I was visiting, beach, pub and cafe all a couple of minutes walk. The guest house is remarkably clean and spacious, right on the beach, with an amazing cooked breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. This is a professionally run business that I would thouroughly recommend. There is a cafe and a pub within a minute’s walk, both very good. The beach is lovely and is a stone throw away. Great spot. 14/11/19 – Kate and Tony are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble. We had a very comfortable stay in their spacious family room, number 5 and it is spotless as well as attractive. As is their breakfast room and the breakfast, very tasty! Each morning we were treated to a freshly cooked plant based, whole food breakfast. Kate shopped especially for Linda McCartney sausages to accommodate my husband and I alone. We were offered extra coffee and toast without asking and it’s good coffee by the way. An added bonus is their guest lounge upstairs with 180 degree view across the Solent to the I.O.W. Parking is easy, on a spacious driveway belonging to the guest house and right outside the front door. There is a local pub restaurant, The Osborne View with panoramic views and a beach garden just opposite. Literally around the corner is Titchfield Haven, great for a walk along the beach, dropping into the cafe and gift shop and for bird watchers it’s a must. Your right next door to the pretty little village of Stubbington and it’s shops, cafes, pubs and other amenities and not much further from the A27/M27 for links to major towns and cities, including Fareham, Wickham, Portsmouth, Southampton, Chichester and more. Our hosts were so pleasant and gave us superb breakfasts each morning, with a wide choice for everyone. It felt like home-from-Home with a wonderful position directly opposite the sea. A few yards on the opposite side we found a great pub, Osborne View, and indulged in delicious home made cake and coffee for £3.95 each. Highly recommend Trevaner to everyone and will definitely return next year. 13/06/19 – We have just returned from spending 4 nights at The Trevarner whilst visiting family in Hampshire. This is an excellent Guest House in a superb location with its 1st floor guest lounge (and telescope!) giving great views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. Owners, Kate and Tony were most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay (even telling us where to pick the best strawberries!). We had Room no.6 – a very comfortable double with en-suite. Normally we don’t eat a cooked breakfast but Kate’s (with a little help from Tony!) were delicious and very filling leaving no room for lunch. There was also a good choice of cereals, yoghurt, fruit etc. We highly recommend The Trevarner and look forward to returning. (TripAdvisor).

Pillows sooo soft and the room so quiet that I slept better than I’ve done for ages. Good shower in the morning. Plenty of hot water, towels and toiletries supplied. Fab breakfast. We stayed on the Saturday night of the Bank Holiday Weekend. The proprietors were very welcoming and friendly. They are new to the B&B business, but you wouldn’t have thought so.
We stayed in one of the back rooms, which had an ensuite bath and shower. The kingsize bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep.
The cooked breakfast was very tasty and filling.
